MAGIC Soccer Betting compares the soccer sportsbooks available to players in the United States. That is the whole remit. We don't cover the NFL, we don't publish picks, and we don't run a tipping service. We look at where you can bet on soccer, what each site charges you in practice, and which one fits the way you actually bet.
The reason the site exists is narrow and worth stating. Most sportsbook comparisons are written for someone betting American football, and soccer gets a paragraph at the end. If you follow more than the Premier League, that ranking is close to useless to you, because the thing that separates a soccer sportsbook from a general one is what happens past the big five European leagues. We rank on that first.
Every offer we publish is read off the operator's own signup page or its published terms, and we note the month it was taken. When a figure is capped in euros rather than dollars, we say so, because that changes what you actually receive.
Four things set the order, weighted in this sequence:
The welcome offer is deliberately last, and it's judged on what you can realistically clear rather than the headline percentage. That's why a $250 free bet at zero rollover sits above a 200% match up to $6,000 on our list. The turnover requirement decides which of those is worth more, and for most people it isn't the big number.
Rankings are refreshed monthly, and any time an operator changes an offer in between.
We earn a fee if you open an account through a link on this site, at no cost to you. That's how the site is funded, and it's the only way it's funded. What sets the order is the published terms, weighted as described above.
Odds, bonuses and terms move constantly, and pages go stale. If something here is wrong or out of date, tell us and we will fix it and note the change. Use the contact form.
Editorial is handled by Michael Simmons Parker, who writes the rankings, the reviews and the market explainers. One person writes the whole site. That's worth knowing: it means the standard is consistent, and it means there's a single name attached to anything we get wrong.
What we don't do is present opinion as measurement. Where a review says a board is deep or an app is quick, that's a judgement drawn from the operator's own published board and offer terms. Where it gives you a number, that number came off the operator's site with the month noted.
Two columns cause the most confusion, so here's what they mean.
Where the code column says none, no code is needed to claim the offer. Where it names one, the offer is tied to it, so entering it at signup matters.
